This time table for first 1st to 7th days

- Before going to bed: a large glass of skimmed milk.
You can interchange lunch and dinner but take no bread, biscuits, cake, salt or sugar, and do not drink during meals. Never miss a meal.
On the 8th to 15th days
Try a day on a milk diet, spending the day in bed or in a comfortable armchair if possible:
1. 8 am: ½ pint diluted skimmed milk and 2 grated unpeeled apples.

- Lunch: salad of raw vegetables, 1 slice of roast lamb, wheat germ, 3ozs. Claves liver, chicory, grapes or pear, dried figs, black coffee.
- 2. Dinner: carrots, 6 oz. or 2 yoghourt, 1 peace of fresh fish or shell fish, stewed plums or prunes.
Thursday (1st and 3rd )
- Lunch: ½ grapefruit, prunes, wheat germ, 2 poached eggs with tomato sauce or 12 oysters, green beans, apple, black coffee.
- Dinner: 1 lettuce, cottage cheese, ham, 1 orange.
Friday (1st and 3rd )
- Lunch: salad of raw vegetables, wheat germ, sole, aubergine (egg plant), 2 slices of pineapple, black coffee.

Wednesday (2nd and 4th )

- Dinner: one small potato, cheddar cheese, egg custard.
Thursday (2nd and 4th )
- Lunch: salad of raw vegetables, wheat germ, ¼ lb. veal, 1 lettuce, 1 pear, black coffee.
- Dinner: leeks in white sauce; 6 oz. yoghourt, 1 orange.
Friday (2nd and 4th )
- Lunch: ½ grapefruit, wheat germ, 1 portion of white fish, 1 boiled potato, 2 fresh figs, black coffee.
- Dinner: chicory, gruyere cheese, pear or grapes.
Saturday (2nd and 4th )
- Lunch: salad of raw vegetables, wheat germ, a slice of ham, spinach, stewed
Prunes, black coffee.
